Hey guys! I've finally picked up blogging again, and this time I'll be reviewing GOT7's latest album "DYE" and M/V for "Not By the Moon." Let's get right into it!
Track 06. POISON

Before I say anything, I would just like to point out that I wasn't too big of a fan of this song the very first time I listened to it through my phone speaker. BUT THEN! I listened to it using headphones, and the bass part is so prominent, it made all the difference!
So, plug in those headphones!!
To my understanding.. the lyrics talk about "him" being in love with someone who may cause him pain but still wanting to willingly carry on with the love. The lyrics are pretty general and vague, but one part I really like is the ending bridge where Youngjae sings "Even if rough moments, erased by tears stained with pain, torture me... I run to you crazily once again."
When a song has just ONE part with such deep meaning, even if the rest of the lyrics are vague, there is still something beautiful about it. Well, that is how I see it anyway! :)
Track 05. TRUST MY LOVE
내 Style: 70%
This song is definitely one of my favorite tracks in this album!
The melody, the lyrics, the fact that they let Jackson sing the chorus and his voice sounds amazing and impactful -- perfect. To my understanding... this song is about trusting each other and enduring the hardships together, no matter what happens.
The lyrics seem like they could have been written for either the fans or to the members, so I was surprised to learn that the lyrics weren't actually written by the members. Regardless, it's a good song, and I really like it! :)
Track 04. LOVE YOU BETTER
내 Style: 80%
The "Knock knock" and "Love love" parts are gonna be repeating in my head all day long~
I LOVE the melody and the style of this one.
Just based on the lyrics, this is definitely a serenading song. There is not really hint of any outside interference with the love described in this song, which makes it feel very positive. The vibe of this song reminds me of how I feel while listening to "Let Me"-- with a love where no one will come between the two of us :D
Track 02. CRAZY
내 Style: 60%
It seems they're still in "Call My Name" Era (based on the amount of times "call my name" appeared in the lyrics) :D
As usual, DEFSOUL's music style is very specific and can be clearly heard in this song. I've always liked the calmingness from his style of music and was surprised to hear the bit of commotion in the chorus.
It's as if that commotion represents how it is when "she makes him crazy." :)
Track 01. AURA
내 Style: 60%
The song is catchy and definitely in the style that JYP has set up for GOT7 these days - the dark, sexy, and mysterious style. I really like how charismatic BamBam's lazy-rapping in the middle of the song is. I think it really matches his voice and image.
My favorite part has got to be the break before the last chorus where Mark and BamBam sing "Wanna know about you." Once again, the sound effects and instruments at this part accentuates the mysterious feel very well.

This is another song where headphones TRULY make the difference. It sounds amazing :') I love the melody and instruments used for this song. The orchestra in the background sounds beautiful and really helps make the song fit well with their Romeo and Juliet/Renaissance concept for this album.
High quality people. High quality technology. That's all you need, right?
Here are some of my favorite shots from the M/V!
Jinyoung, with a piercing gaze right from the start
Youngjae radiating a pool of emotions
"Wang (King)" Jackson with whatever happening at the back xD
BamBam staring into my soul o.o
Yugyeom, maknae with Ahgase
Mark as a sophisticated-looking gangster
JB, with his hair greatly utilized for this comeback!
What did you guys think about this comeback?
